The frozen meat products (legs, cattle meat, frozen fish etc) are carried from the ports of Europe, South and North America to the ports of Poti and Batumi in refrigerator containers (usually 40 REF).

Further, in Poti or Batumi, the transshipment of containers of frozen food in the refrigerator section of the MPS (usually belonging Georgian Railway) is made either directly (containers – Refrigerated section), or through a refrigerated warehouse with a capacity of up to 2,000 tons.
